Scoring Settings
RBs at 1.25 PPR + 0.25 PPFD makes pass-catching workhorses elite. 2.0 TEP elevates top tight ends into first-round startup value. WRs at standard 1.0 PPR are the baseline. This creates meaningful positional tiers and deeper strategy.
Playoffs (Weeks 15–17)
Qualification — 8 Teams
Top 8 teams by overall record qualify for the playoffs. No divisions.
Seeding Tiebreakers
- Overall record
- Total Points For
- Head-to-head record
- Total Points Against (higher = better)
Bracket
| Week | Round | Matchups |
|---|---|---|
| 15 | Quarterfinals | 1v8 • 2v7 • 3v6 • 4v5 |
| 16 | Semis + Consolation | QF winners play semis; QF losers play consolation |
| 17 | Finals | Championship • 3rd Place • 5th Place • 7th Place |
Every playoff game determines rookie draft position. Money games (3rd Place & Championship) award better picks to losers since prize money is the incentive. Non-money games award better picks to winners.
Startup Draft
Live Auction — $500 Salary Cap
The inaugural startup is a live auction on Sleeper. Every manager begins with $500 and nominates/bids in real time.
- All 14 managers must be present
- Nomination order randomized
- Fill full active roster: 11 starters + 12 bench = 23 spots
- Minimum bid: $1 per player
- 10 seconds to nominate, 10 second bids
- Be prepared for 3+ hour draft
Annual Rookie Draft
- 4-round linear draft (non-snake)
- Conducted after the NFL Draft each year
Picks 1.01–1.06 (Non-Playoff)
Determined by Max Points For (MPF) through Week 14. Lowest MPF = 1.01.
Picks 1.07–1.14 (Playoff Teams)
Assigned by postseason finish. Non-money games: winner gets the better pick. Money games (3rd Place & Championship): loser gets the better pick since prize money is the incentive.
| Playoff Finish | Pick | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Winner of 7th Place Game | 1.07 | Winner rewarded |
| Loser of 7th Place Game | 1.08 | Winner rewarded |
| Winner of 5th Place Game | 1.09 | Winner rewarded |
| Loser of 5th Place Game | 1.10 | Winner rewarded |
| Loser of 3rd Place Game | 1.11 | Money game — loser consolation |
| 3rd Place (Winner) | 1.12 | Money game — $$ is reward |
| Runner-Up (Loser) | 1.13 | Money game — loser consolation |
| Champion (Winner) | 1.14 | Money game — $$ is reward |
This hybrid system ensures every game matters. Non-money games incentivize winning through draft capital. Money games incentivize winning through prize payouts, with the loser receiving pick consolation.
Trading Rules
- No trade deadline — trades permitted year-round
- All trades process immediately — no review period
- No league vote or commissioner approval required
- Future picks tradeable up to 3 years out
- Must have paid the corresponding year's dues to trade that year's picks
Trust-based system. Trades will not be reversed unless clear collusion is proven OR there is a clear mistake where the manager who made it contacts me immediately.
Waivers & FAAB
- Budget: $100 per team per season
- Blind bidding — all bids sealed
- Waivers process weekly
- Waivers turned off from March 1st - August 1st every year
- Ties broken by waiver priority (inverse standings)
- $0 bids permitted
- Budget does not roll over between seasons
Competitive Integrity
Tanking via lineup manipulation is strictly prohibited. Every manager must field their best possible lineup each week.
Prohibited Actions
- Intentionally benching healthy starters
- Leaving empty roster spots when viable players exist
- Starting injured/suspended/inactive players when alternatives exist
- Dropping productive starters to manipulate outcomes
Enforcement
The MPF system removes most tanking incentive. This policy is a backstop to protect every weekly matchup.
